The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) is the governing body in India. Renewables are taking hype in India & the same goes with solar power.
Solar Power requires solar panels & this attracts companies. The opportunity of being a part of the booming industry, but in the same while consumers also play a vital role. To protect the consumers from the monopoly of any solar company MNRE set the benchmark costs for all types of solar power systems.
MNRE also set down the benchmark for solar panels in India.

How is the sun shining? Sun is a massive celestial body that contains tonnes of gas in its core. These gases go under continuous chemical reactions called fusion, an infinite number of particles combining to form a new particle & the process continues. Why don't we get burnt due to the heat energy of light? This giant ball of gas is having a diameter of order 10^6 km in comparison to which our teeny-tiny planet's diameter is of order 10^4 km, however, both have separation of around 1.27*10^8 km. Now what we know is that our planet is enveloped by layers of the atmosphere. These layers are divided on the basis of there particulates. Light has to pass all these layers before reaching the Earth's surface. When anything hits something is produces some impact & the fast-moving object gets slower, the same happens with light. When light enters into the earth's atmosphere it loses its energy to reach the surface. These layers are:- Ionosphere Mesosphere Stratosphere Tr...
What is a Solar Panel ? The solar panel is a plate of silicon cells, silicon is a semiconductor material which is having a unique property of forming junction, it is having a kind of gap between two electronically charged areas in the same material. It produces energy when enough energy of light strikes on this material (more on this later). These silicon cells are placed over the acrylic sheet with connecting wires soldered over it. These cells are protected by thick tempered glass over them. The thickness of this tempered glass & acrylic sheet provides more strength to the panel. When sunlight strikes these panels, silicon cells starts creating a potential difference(voltage) over its top layer & bottom layer. Now, this potential difference can be used to run your appliances or charge your battery bank. Types of solar panels available in the market:- 1. Polycrystalline Solar Panels :- These are the cheaper ones, 'poly' means many so it refers that multiple silicon cr...
There’s a world of choice in today’s car market, what with more than 400 different models and many car types available. What are the different types of cars? The first thing to know is that “cars” means “passenger vehicles of all types.” For the purposes of keeping it simple, we’ve broken down all of those vehicle choices into nine major categories. SEDAN A sedan has four doors and a traditional trunk. Like vehicles in many categories, they’re available in a range of sizes from small (subcompact vehicles like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Aspire) to compacts (Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla) to mid-size (Honda Accord, Hyundai Verna), and full-size (Toyota Avalon, Dodge Charger). Luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz and Lexus have sedans in similar sizes as well. HATCHBACK Traditionally, the term “hatchback” has meant a compact or subcompact sedan with a squared-off roof and a rear flip-up hatch door that provides access to the vehicle’s cargo area instead of a conventional trunk. The Volk...
